Upcoming workshop · Online Gene Expression & RNA-Seq Data Analysis Workshop
Gene Expression & RNA-Seq Data Analysis: From Raw Reads to Biological Insight
A 3-day online workshop by Discovery Boulevard · Day 1 free for all
About the workshop
A three-day online workshop that takes you from the basics of gene expression to a complete RNA-Seq analysis: from raw sequencing reads to differentially expressed genes, publication-ready plots and their biological meaning.
Day 1 is free for everyone. It introduces gene expression and differential gene expression, and gets your computer ready for RNA-Seq work with WSL and the essential Linux commands. Days 2 and 3 are paid, hands-on sessions that walk through the full workflow: quality control with FastQC, read trimming, alignment with HISAT2 or STAR, read counting with featureCounts and differential expression analysis with DESeq2, finishing with volcano plots, heatmaps and interpretation.
Sessions run live online from 9:00 to 10:30 PM IST. Paid participants receive the recordings and a PDF tutorial of the complete workflow, so every step can be revisited at your own pace.
